Tech is a lot like our minds. It can either be a huge asset, or a huge contributor to mental, emotional, spiritual and overall health issues.
There is however, one app I recently found that I want to share called Moody that has helped me in both mind and body acceptance on my way to reviving my happiness and wellbeing before summer.
This app is mainly for women, (although if you are male you can track your moods too:) Moody asks you to put in some key info related to your menstrual cycle that can help offer some clarity on why you may be feeling extra down, or maybe like your body has changed overnight. I know these mysteries of emotionally fluctuations, sadness, and body aches seemed like they were my fault, or I was doing something wrong for so many years when in realty the answer is that our hormones are at work each month contributing to these changes. For me, just acknowledging and staying on top of this has helped me understand, Im not just in a bad mood or sad, it's really just my hormones. Knowing that, and knowing that these changes will pass has helped me change my story and be less MOODY regardless of what time of month it is.
So if you're looking to track your moods and body more carefully for a deeper understanding and to help you on your journey to happy and well, check out the app HERE!
We all have ups and down, but knowing the story behind it can lead to greater happiness, peace and wellbeing as we ride those waves.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology over 85 Million Americans suffer from a skin disease. (Source) With skin issues on the rise, the APA has identified a link between mental health and skin issues, citing that both stress and mental health conditions can cause skin issues, and reversely, skin issues can cause stress and anxiety.
As summer approaches we want to help you revive your skin and reduce stress to help your mind, body and spirit soar.
On today's show join me and my guest Christina Edwards, owner of Oasis European Skin Care, to give real and practical ways to revive your skin and mental health just in time for the sunshine.

Happy Revival Seekers!
Yesterday was “Fat Tuesday," and I took that day seriously. In fact, the last week and a half I’ve had a hankering for cake every second of the day and a deep desire to grab a fork and literally mount a pastry case at Whole Foods. All of these things helped me realize that my sugar cravings are way out of control. For some reason this winter, even watching what I eat most days, the scale has managed to creep up. For me feeling good means SO much more than my weight. (Something I have worked hard to change.) But the reality is, I have been feeling sluggish and for me that means resetting my mind and body; just in time for SPRING!
Something that has worked for me before is the Whole 30 and I have been wanting to do the challenge since the start of the new year, so what better day to start than TODAY! And who better to do this challenge with than my Seekerhood.
SO if you’re anything like me, and want to spend some time renewing your mind and body as we head into spring (and the lenten season,) join me today as we kick off 30 days of refueling, refreshing and recentering.
All you have to do is click HERE and join our private group! We'll post daily (you can too!) and help keep one another on track! Oh and what is the Whole 30? You can check out the specifics HERE!
We will of course add our own spin on it too, like distressing help and mind enhancing fun!
Here is to living life well in mind, mood & body this spring!

Laughing isn't just an enjoyable process, it is also is a sure fire way to change your mood for the better. One thing I have found in my seeking process is that nothing beats the feeling of laughing. It reminds me not to take myself too seriously and that hope exists even in the darkest of times.
Neurologically, laughter increases the endorphins in your brain chemistry, making you feel happier and more well with each giggle. If you want to read more about it, here is an incredible article from Scientific America that will give you all the science based reasons you should be laughing.
For those of you who just want to crack a smile though, check out this weeks mood booster which is a video made to honor National Tell a Joke Day (officially August 16th,) and watch how much happier and more well you can feel with just a simple joke.
Happy Friday Seekers & look out for our own joke video...coming soon!
I promise myself almost every morning that I'll meditate and if I'm being honest, it's only 50% of the time that I hold true to that promise.
Once I walk out the door or get going into my day, I forget about my meditation practice until I am stressed out and forced to take a time out, but what if it didn't have to be that way?
The good news is, it doesn't! Research actually shows that if you are trying to establish a meditation routine, one of the best places to do it is actually at a work, and the results are always a more happy and more peaceful state.
So how can you get Zen? And why do you want to add this 3 min practice to your life? Find out now as Lucia is joined by meditation guru Swami Varadan. Swami and Lucia will share their own personal experiences with meditation at work, how and why you MUST give it a try, and the results that will lead to a happier and healthier work life!

Once a week we like to give a mood booster to get your weekend started right! (Disclaimer: this movie may not be suitable for younger seekers.)
I was sick last weekend and took some time for R&R that helped clear up my cold with a quickness. (That, a heavy dose of Vitamin C and some of my magic smoothie potion. Will share more on that in another post!)
While I was relaxing I wanted to watch a movie to lift my mood, self esteem and do more than just make me laugh. I found one that accomplished it all, I Feel Pretty! Full disclosure, I am not a huge Amy Schumer fan. (Sorry Amy!) Yet this movie hit the spot.
Here is why:
