The REAL Meaning of Memorial Day

As we head into Memorial Day, I want to share with you one of the most powerful stories I have done in my career as a storyteller.

I am from a military family, and have always had tremendous admiration and respect for the service men, women, and families, that truly give more than we could ever imagine to defend our rights.

​I know that there is a tremendous amount of discourse among us as a country, but it is stories like these and heroes like the men and women who so bravely sacrifice their lives for our freedoms that I try and keep at the forefront of my mind today and, truthfully, most days.  Without these sacrifices, there would be no arguing because our freedoms wouldn't exist.

​This Memorial Day I plan on taking some time to honor those who sacrificed so much for so many.
