Eating disorders are a complex illness with many different causes that we will dive into on today's show. Between the estimated numbers of those suffering from anorexia and bulimia, (10-15 million,) to the staggering number of those that suffer from overeating and obesity (an estimated 60-65% of the US population,) almost all of us have some sort of issue with body image, food and the emotional and psychological distress that come with having eating related issues.
On today's show we will discuss with Jillian Dominick, LICSW, SIMPLE & REAL ways that we can prevent eating related issues in our lives and the lives of the ones we love.
