Eating disorders are a complex illness with many different causes that we will dive into on today's show. Between the estimated numbers of those suffering from anorexia and bulimia, (10-15 million,) to the staggering number of those that suffer from overeating and obesity (an estimated 60-65% of the US population,) almost all of us have some sort of issue with body image, food and the emotional and psychological distress that come with having eating related issues.
