Mary Joyner is the Founder & CEO of Flo-Jo Forever. She is also the daughter of the late and great Florence Griffith Joyner. Mary created this company to continue her mother’s legacy. She is a mother, artist, entrepreneur, designer, athlete, former Gymnastics coach, and Professional Recording Artist from Los Angeles, California. She is best known for her performance on America’s Got Talent, Season 7. Mary also performed at the U.S. Olympic Trials in 2012. She is a Multi-Genre Singer-Songwriter, Producer, and Musician by ear. She learned to play the piano by ear at age 2 and the violin in middle school. In high school, she was a part of the Tesoro High School Choir taught by Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winner Keith Hancock. She relocated to San Diego so she could focus more on sports. However, she redirected her path to pursue her music career and ended up in local singing competitions in San Diego. She also sang back up for a Reggae band and picked up on the drums. She eventually moved back to Los Angeles where she majored in Vocal Jazz and studied Classical Music at the Santa Monica Performing Arts Honors Program. She continued to work on her original songs and music and released her first single “To Have You Only”, written and produced by her in 2011 on iTunes. She then auditioned for the preliminary trials of X-Factor and American Idol. Mary has been working on her first EP and debut album. In 2019 and 2020, she released several singles and featured projects. Some of her works are the sultry and soulful “Talk to Me” and R&B feature with GLOW Productions “Let’s Make Some Music” on the album, Ten of Diamonds.
