Dr. Chelsea Page is a Sex Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado. She holds a Doctorate in Human Sexuality, and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. She has also completed extensive education in Emotionally Focused therapy (EFT) and has been a valued mentor in recent trainings for emerging EFT therapists. Dr. Chelsea is an active member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and the American Counseling Association (ACA), as well as the Denver and Boulder communities for EFT. Dr. Chelsea has helped many individuals and couples and loves working to support her clients with their concerns and questions regarding sexuality and relationships. Her approach is open-minded, sex-positive, and nonjudgmental. Her compassionate approach helps her clients explore, embrace and enhance their relationships and sexuality, while mitigating problems that may be hindering their fullest potential. To best help her clients and their diverse needs, Dr. Chelsea uses a custom mix of therapy approaches. She practices Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) in order to help identify disruptive and disconnecting patterns. She supports couples to move into open and direct communication, while increasing the capacity for couples to be vulnerable and assert their unique needs. In addition, she integrates Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, offering clients tools and skills to optimize positive movement toward their goals. Lastly, Dr. Chelsea has trained with The Intimacy Institute for four years, cultivating clinical sex therapy skills to support couples towards optimum sexual and emotional health. When not at work, Dr. Chelsea lives a fulfilling life with her Husband and two crazy dogs. She practices what she preaches, living a fun and healthy lifestyle involving tons of reading, training with her hubby for an upcoming marathon, and devouring her favorite delicious tacos on most Tuesdays!
